BROOVIS Terminal — Development Privacy Notice (pre-release draft, 2026-11-04)

The app stores host settings, screen rules, password verification material and diagnostic logs in Android app-private storage. Host passwords and private keys are encrypted with Android Keystore. Review diagnostic exports before sharing; host addresses, labels and logs can identify people or systems. Clearing app data deletes local configuration and installation keys; it does not cancel a Google Play subscription.
Terminal traffic goes to the hosts you select. SSH/TLS and host-key decisions affect protection; Telnet is not encrypted. We do not automatically upload your terminal screens or business data to BROOVIS.
The optional rear camera processes barcode frames locally with CameraX and ZXing. No camera image is saved or uploaded by the scanning feature. You can deny camera permission and use available manufacturer scanning engines. Barcode data can be sent to your selected host after the configured confirmation/submit action.
Configuration QR codes are password-encrypted and kept in memory while displayed/collected. They may include host addresses, display/scanner settings, and selected reformat rules/dictionary changes. They include the selected host login usernames/passwords and the offline admin password verifier (not the plaintext admin password). They exclude SSH private keys, command macros, recovery secrets, installation keys and purchase/offline rights. Import explicitly replaces the local admin password with the source admin password. The receiver previews and confirms import; one Keystore-encrypted private configuration/admin journal supports recovery/undo. Protect QR codes and their separate transfer password.
No hardware serial or phone permission is required for licensing. Purchase ownership uses a fresh non-exportable Android Keystore installation key. A separate random diagnostic installation identifier is not proof of purchase or personal identity.
When configured and enabled, Google Play processes purchases. The BROOVIS verifier receives purchase tokens, an installation public key and signed challenges, product/status/expiry, and request metadata such as IP address. It verifies with Google, stores encrypted purchase tokens and hashed identifiers, and signs installation-bound offline rights. Payment card details are not entered into this app. Entitlement cache files are excluded by the app backup/transfer rules; cloning configuration does not copy rights.
The distributed local development build has no configured verifier or payment checkout. Production service recipients/location, retention and deletion procedures, lawful basis, international transfers and Play Data Safety disclosures still require review before enabling public purchasing. No fixed retention promise is made by this draft.
Diagnostic exports require manual review/redaction. Support mail is initiated by you through your mail provider. This notice is a development draft adapted to Terminal; public legal approval and actual device/network validation remain pending.
The on-device reformat editor can capture a business screen after explicit confirmation. Screen snapshots and unfinished forms remain only in Keystore-encrypted app-private drafts; saved display rules and exported reformat packages exclude screen field values. Discarding or successfully saving clears the draft snapshot. Custom dictionary text and host scopes can still contain information you enter, so review exports before sharing.
This website serves static pages and uses no analytics scripts or advertising cookies. The hosting server may record IP addresses, requested pages and browser information in access logs for operation and security. If you contact us by email, we receive the address and information you choose to share so we can respond.
